The music video portrays a contemporary performance, with non-stop choreography in a single long take. It tells the story of a young woman at her father’s funeral—a man who used to abuse her and her mother—held in a church.
Her and her mother’s faces are bruised, and while the rest of the family wails in grief, she dances. For her, the dance is a celebration of her father’s death, as it seems to be the only way she and her mother can escape the cycle of domestic violence.
